Introduction to Deaf Match Network:
There are literally 1000's of dating, chat, matchmaking and even love making sites on the internet. So what is different about Deaf Match Network? Deaf Match Network is an internet community combining male and female profiles to assist friendship as well as the usual interaction with the opposite sex (or same sex for gays and lesbians). We are a virtual community network.
  
 
How can I benefit by joining?
You can find, love, romance, increase Your social activities online or even can find out about a particular country. For example You may be planning a holiday in Turkey or Greece and want to know what to look out for or areas to avoid and sights to see.

Some hints on using Deaf Match Network and how it works:
OK. Using the Deaf Match Network system is easy! Join quickly and easily by filling in the membership form click here. Fill in Your details (takes two minutes!) and You will instantly receive an email with Your password to login to Deaf Match Network. Once logged in You will automatically enter "My Page" which is Your private members area, profile functions and Your statistics will be displayed. From here You can also upload our photos, change Your password and edit Your profile.

 When You enter Deaf Match Network members area for the first time it is a good idea to change Your password to something You can remember easily as all passwords are generated by our Server random upon initial membership.
How can I get the most exposure and contact with other members:
Simple.. all the lists on Deaf Match Network including, visitors, female/male photos and profiles are sorted by the order of last logged in. If You want the best results from Deaf Match Network simply login once a day. Another good way is to leave messages in people's Guestbooks and message other members daily.

Please remember that interactivity is the key!

 Frequently Asked Questions..
Deaf Match Network emails are slightly different than the ones You may be used to. For this reason please read the following information carefully.

Q. Why does my email inbox shows more emails then I can see in there?
A. Your inbox show the total number of messages sent to You. This includes Your Spam, Favourites, Spam and Admin email.

Q.Why so many inboxes?
A. When You become popular the seperate inboxes are designed to help You filter out emails that You may not consider so urgent.
one good example of this would be to filter Admin emails that You may not want to read urgently.

Q. Someone keeps annoying me. Can I block them?
A. Yes! After reading their first email simply click the block button provided. Any future emails from this person will not be received.
  


 Member's Guestbooks:

Your guestbook is a place where other members can leave You messages upon visiting Your profile. You can of course edit and delete these messages should You so wish on Your guestbooks. In return You can also do the same on their profile guestbooks.

 The Guestbook message form is a java application which may not be supported by some uncommon or older browsers.
 

 
 Visitors:
By clicking the visitors link when logged will enable You to see who has been viewing Your profile. This is a good indicator of people who have obviously shown an interest in Your profile.
 


 Browsing:

After clicking the browse link You will enter a page of options enabling You to specify a particular group to browse. For example You wanted to browse all UK members. Click Male or Female first to narrow Your browse to just two sexes. then continue by clicking on the United Kingdom link.
 

 
 Favourites:
Adding members as Favourites allows You to see when Your favourite members where last on line or indeed enable You to see if they are currently online. Every profile that is viewed contains a Add to Favourites link to enable You to do this easily.
 

   
 Uploading Photo onto Your profile:
In the main member areas (My Page) is a link allowing You to post up to 5 photos. Once You have uploaded any photo onto Deaf Match Network You will find two links below DELETE this photo and Make this photo MAIN). Unless You make one photo the main one Your photos will not be visible to others. 
 

 
All photos must be approved by a Site Administrator to ensure no pornographic material is posted.
 

  
 Problems Uploading Photos?
Are You having problems uploading photos to Your profile because the file size or dimensions are too big?
Follow these instructions to lower the file size of Your photographs.

Step 1.
On Your PC simply open Your photo up Microsoft Paint.

Step2.
Select [Image] for the menu bar.

Step3.

From the [Image] menu select [Stretch / Skew].

Step 4.
You should have a small pop up window open. Look for the fields showing inputs for "Horizontal" and "Vertical".

Step 5.
Where You see "100%" in both the "Horizontal" and "Vertical" fields in the small pop up window simply change the "100%" to 50% in both the "Horizontal" and "Vertical" fields. This should hopefully halve the file size.

Step 6.
Now simply Save the image and then upload it to Deaf Match Network as normal and please remember to mark one of Your photos as "Main"..!!

  If Your photo is something rediculous like 5MB then You may need to reduce it by more that 50%.

If You are using HOTMAIL or YAHOO email accounts to register with Deaf Match Network or use a spam filter.. Please check Your BULK MAIL folder for Your verification email as well as Your normal inbox..



 How secure is Deaf Match Network Payment system?

PayPal is our authorised online payment merchant with over 89 million users. An important rule to remember is to look for https://  instead of http:// at the begining of the web address in Your browser. Also another thing to look for is the yellow padlock at the bottom bar of Your web browser. Of course the padlock can vary from browser to browser so always look for the https:// before ever submitting any credit card details.


 
 Remove My Profile: 
We cannot remove profiles manually and is Deaf Match Network policy to allow members to remove their own profiles. This prevents unathorised people trying to delete members profiles.

Caution: Clicking the link directly above while You are logged in will queue Your profile for removal from the Deaf Match Network database for good. After clicking this link You will be brought back to this page and to confirm Your request scroll down to the bottom of this page to see the confirmation in bold characters.Profiles queued for deletion are deleted within a maximum of five working days and this will include any photographs, GuestBook contents and emails belonging to the profile queued for deletion.

Please do not worry about getting rebilled as Deaf Match Network does NOT rebill ever.

 Email problems during registration?
The Deaf Match Network server will reject emails with more than 25 characters. If You have an email address with over 25 characters we suggest You get a FREE
Yahoo or Hotmail email address.

 Your email address may also be rejected for having a double " _ " one after the other like " __ "


 
 Uploading Your video profile:
Video clips up to 25MB in .avi  .mpg  .mpeg  .wmv .avi  .mpg  .mpeg  .wmv formats can be uploaded onto Your profile from Your members page by clicking the
Upload Video in the control panel. Please wait until Your video clip is fully uploaded where You will be returned to a screen where You can preview Your video. This is also a good way of confirming successful uploading.
 
If You are having problems uploading Your video profile please check that there are no spaces in the filename and that the filename does not contain illegal characters (/,*,\,etc).
 
 Absolutely No Porngraphy, we will promptly delete any offensive videos and your account will be BANNED! We also will report any illegal videos such as child pronography to the POLICE along with You IP number and any other information we have about You!


 
 Problems Login In:
If You have tried login in and have failed to access Your members page and other site features without success please ensure You have used the right password. If You have forgotten Your password please do the following.

1. Click here
2. Enter the email address You registered with and the system will email You a new one.
3. Go to Your REAL email and collect password.

 If You are using HOTMAIL or YAHOO email accounts to register with Deaf Match Network or use a spam filter.. Please check Your BULK MAIL folder for Your verification email as well as Your normal inbox..

 Should Your email address not be recognised the chances are Your profile has been deleted for breaking the terms and conditions to which You had agreed to before joining.



 Tell me more about VIP membership:
When joining Deaf Match Network You automatically become a free member. This allows You to read email messages and view profiles. However to access the full functions of Deaf Match Network and enjoy the full benefits of a VIP membership You must first become a VIP member. This will enable You to send messages, view who visited You and access to leave messages on other members guestbooks.

 Deaf Match Network has a no rebilling policy. You simply pay for the time You want to use the site for, then it is up to You to renew should You wish.
 

 
 I wrote You an email to customer services but got no reply:
There are a few good reasons for this as stated below.

1. You were rude (This is in breach of our terms and conditions which You agreed to prior to joining).
2. You are asking a question or refering to a topic already covered on this help page.
3. Your email is in a queue and not dealt with yet.

Although we are always happy to help all our members and prospective members, please read this help page where You will find answers to most common questions.
